ConnectingCultures blev grundlagt i år 2013 af Signe Ørom og er et konsulentfirma, der er specialiseret i at optimere kommunikation og samarbejder på tværs af lande og kulturer. Vi hjælper virksomheder med at opbygge og implementere globale kompetencer gennem rådgivning og kulturtræninger. ConnectingCultures er grundlagt og ledet af CEO & Principal Consultant, Signe Ørom og består yderligere 3 Principal og Senior Consultant og 21 lande- og kulturspecialister.

Da Signe Ørom færdiggjorde sin Ph.d. i kultur og sprog, besluttede hun sig for at forfølge en karriere uden for den akademiske verden som selvstændig erhvervsdrivende. Drevet af personlig interesse samt skandinaviske virksomheders stigende behov for vejledning omkring forretningskulturen i BRIK-landet Brasilien, oprettede Signe Brasilienkonsulenten i år 2011.

Det blev hurtigt tydeligt, at kundernes behov for tværkulturel træning rakte udover konsulentfirmaets brasilianske fokus. Signe Ørom besluttede derfor at etablere en ny virksomhed for at imødekomme kundernes behov. Konsulentfirmaet ConnectingCultures blev oprettet i år 2013 og siden oprettelsen har Signe Ørom lavet kulturtræninger i mere end 20 lande.

I ConnectingCultures prioriterer vi forskningsbaseret viden, hvorfor Signe Ørom er tilknyttet Københavns Universitet som deltidsforsker.
