Diversity and inclusion

Inclusive leadership and psychological safety in diverse teams

In the inclusive leadership course, we work on defining inclusive leadership practices based on each leader’s individual preferences, leadership style, and biases.

Diversity and Inclusion: Inclusive Leadership

We equip leaders to create psychological safety for everyone

Only when we understand our own preferences and the differences we may encounter in a diverse team regarding, for example, expectations of the leader, decision making processes, and feedback, can we work on becoming inclusive leaders.

We motivate leaders to recognize the great potential of including diversity, and we map, among other things, the diversity within each leader’s team, department, or group, while identifying and discussing inclusion challenges.

We also work with specific work situations where leaders can implement small inclusive practices or replace unintentionally exclusive or non-inclusive behaviors with actively inclusive leadership practices.

Mikkel is truly one of the best training moderators I’ve seen in a long time. He clearly carries a wealth of knowledge on diversity and inclusion, exemplified by how easily he interprets and responds to participant questions and comments without allowing the broader conversation (and focus) to veer off-track. Also, I love his use of short breakout sessions with targeted activities to get us all participating and learning. Thanks, Mikkel, and I’m looking forward to continued learning with you!
